As Compliance & HR Manager, Derek leads Energize's compliance program and assists with HR functions such as recruiting and onboarding new team members. He brings more than a decade of experience in compliance within the financial services industry.
Prior to Energize , Derek worked at Northern Trust Corporation in a broad range of compliance roles in areas such as capital markets, asset management and banking. He has also previously worked at EY in financial services risk management and at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in supervision and regulation roles.
Derek holds a JD/MBA from the University of Iowa and a BA from Marquette University.
