Alan is a Partner at Energize Capital and Co-Head of Energize's Endurance strategy, a growth buyout platform backing profitable, asset-light climate and industrial technology businesses. He brings nearly 15 years of investing experience across private equity and financial services.
Alan joined Energize from Vista Equity Partners, where he spent seven and a half years as a senior investor on Vista’s Flagship Fund. At Vista, he focused on enterprise software investments, gaining deep experience in sourcing, diligencing, and executing transactions, as well as in partnering with management teams to drive operational and strategic value creation. During Alan’s time at Vista, he also helped lead recruiting, hiring, and training of investment team members, in addition to other initiatives across the firm.
Earlier in his career, Alan worked as an Associate at J.P. Morgan in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group, and prior to that as an Investment Analyst at Sail Advisors Ltd.
Alan holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from Trinity College.
